Flatback Rhinestones: An abundance of Shimmering Flatback Rhinestones
The Augusts Bling Box was packed with 7 different colors of flatback rhinestones totaling 70 gross of beautiful captivating colors. This months color palate included all glass rhinestone colors of Pure White, Fushia Pink, Aquamarine, Hyacinth Orange, Malachite Green, Peridot and Citrine Yellow. The glass rhinestone size was SS16 to complete the hibiscus rhinestone pattern for a wine tumbler.
Two Themed Projects to Unleash Your Creativity
This month, members had the pleasure of indulging in not one but two captivating themed projects. The first project was a 16oz Wine Tumbler from MakerFlo Crafts. The Wine Tumbler includes a slide top lid. Its perfect for staying hydrated in style or sipping a nice glass of wine with friends.
The second project offered acute picture frame for a fun time blinging that included a small clip to change out pictures. The frame can be painted any color you’d like to match your home decor, and will look perfect on a coffee table or kitchen table.
These themed projects allowed members to expand their rhinestoning knowledge, as well as allowed them to infuse each creation with their own unique flair.
Rhinestone Patterns/SVG Designs: Elevate Your Designs
Bling Your Things created two thoughtfully curated patterns this month, that allowed members the option to choose which design they wanted to try. August’s Bling Box delivered not one but two different Hibiscus Flower patterns. They had the options of a honeycomb or a scatter pattern. The first Rhinestone Pattern was a Honeycomb Fill pattern for size SS16 to make the Hibiscus Flowers. The second pattern was a Hibiscus SVG Pattern that could be downloaded and cut using a Cameo or Cricut cutter in vinyl, offering a fantastic canvas for the application of rhinestones in a scatter pattern over the vinyl.
